I was out this afternoon driving down a country lane. I briefly had to pull into a passing place and as I did, this Pipit/Lark appeared on a stone wall next to the car. I managed a couple of quick pics, but have been left wondering what it is?

Pics were taken on moorland in South West Scotland.

Any help and insights really appreciated :D

Cheers, DD :)
