In our Lesser Kestrel Field two Pipits took off - the call was as much a Red Throated as I could imagine - not that familiar with but defo not a meadow pipit call!!!! In the same area were Ortolans, Yellow Wag, Whinchat...

The two birds flew up where one landed and the other floated around - obviously, as I couldn't get one, taking a flight shot was impossible.

Is there anything in this structure to seal the id? Maybe the angle but looked very stubby, in the sense that the tail seemed short. The photos are rubbish and I hope Dragnil got a better shot but they do seem to suggest a very white super, although could just be the lighting...
