Does anyone out there know the earliest sightings for Pied Flycatchers in the Padley gorge /Grindleford area please or where i could get such info. As you may realise i am really looking forward to spring.

Don't have the exact dates for Padley, but I would imagine you are looking at 2nd or 3rd weeks in April.Yeah roll on spring, love this time of year.

One singing in the Goyt at the north end of Errwood Resr yesterday (18th April). According to the log the first sighting of one was on 9th April.
