i was at a disused quarry today and came across a large nest in the rock face which i was led to believe was a peregrine nest but when i read up on this the article say's that peregrines do not make a nest but sometimes would use a vacated nest, the nest was on a ledge and was quite large and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas as i am quite new at this bird watching thing and if it was a peregrine nest (which are in the area) it would be something interesting to look forward to in the breeding season.
