Panasonic Lumix TZ10 (1 Viewer)

jimmyg

Good game boys, good game!
Just bought a Lumix TZ10 and, though I've only been using it in my room where the lighting isn't that great so far, I'm a little disappointed with the image quality. They always come out a bit grainy. I figured it can't be anything to do with lens quality as they're Leica, and I've tried fiddling around with settings but I'm not very experienced and it doesn't seem to be making much difference anyway! Can anybody tell me what settings they use to get the best image quality please? I'm going to be using it for digiscoping but also to try and get pictures of tricky passerines (hence why I opted for a big zoom).

Thanks!

Interesting... haven't noticed that on mine, but doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Having talked to a few people it seems the problem I've been having isn't due to incorrect settings. I've emailed panasonic and sent them a couple of photos, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up sending the camera back :-C. I think it must just be a manufacturing problem, hope they can fix it. I haven't forgotten you PM'd me, so I'll try and remember to keep you posted with developments.
