Pair of ravens at Sutton Park, West Midlands, UK. (1 Viewer)

Couple of hours strolling round Sutton Park whilst the Car was having a service and MOT, yielded a pair of ravens, I only got a pic of one. Plus some pipets and twite. If you do not know the park it has interesting history all over it, including this “well” which is actually a natural spring. You can see the water bubbling up inside :)

The World Scout Jamboree was held there in 1957 during a heatwave that also included 2 days of torrential rain that turned the place into a quagmire - I think that was possibly the last year that Nightjars bred there.....

Thank you - I often get that wrong! I think they have short stubby beaks and they don’t it’s just the camera angle!
