This owl year seems to be very interresting in North Karelia and Savo areas. Especially in certain areas of North Karelia (near Russian border) there is lots of calling owls. One spot had even 5 Great Greys (3 males, 2 females) figthing for territory! Hopefully volepopulation will be good long enough and there will be lots of breeding pairs.
