And finally, probably least interesting to anyone else, but my favourite - Chronological order.
Well, mostly - I've put all the birds I've known my whole life at the beginning, followed in rough order by all the ones I remember learning/seeing for the first time as a child and teen and adult, and then all the species since I've been keeping yearly lists take their exact right places toward the end.
A little background on why this is so vague - I've been a nature fan as long as I can remember, but got into actual birding much later : started keeping year lists in 2019, and didn't up it into a hobby to focus on by making special day trips, seeing as many as I could, and identifying everything possible, until January 2023. So I'm both a lifelong bird lover, and a relatively new birder!
