Northern or Louisiana Waterthrush? (1 Viewer)

Hi there! Ran into a water thrush yesterday (April 26th) in Massachusetts. Having trouble deciding between a Northern and a Louisiana. On one hand, in the first photo you can see spots on the throat, but on the other hand, some of the photos show the supercilium widening at the end. Any help or other tips on identifying these birds in the future would be great!

Is it possible that these are two different birds?

I definitely wondered that myself. A friend and I were watching this bird pretty intensely so if there were two birds we probably would have noticed, but there were a few hiding spots it would dip in and out of where they may have swapped and we missed it. These were also shot digiscoping with my phone and my binoculars, so the colors are a bit misleading as well.

I'll attach a few more of the photos I was able to get.
