New Vortex Diamondback HD 15x56 (1 Viewer)

I received an email from Vortex advertising a new DB HD 15x56 just being released. Curious to see if anyone tried it. Likely targeted to hunters not looking to spend a huge amount on a 15x binocular. I had a 12x50 diamondback (2016 version and non HD) and recall it was quite soft on edges and showed a lot of CA so I don't have high hopes for the 15x model.

Hmmmmm, not out yet so doubt anyone has tried it out. As you suggest, moreso for the hunting and shooting brigade rather than wildlife watching. Have to laugh at some of the advertising blurb by a UK retailer - " for long distance viewing ".
So, I cant see our Moon with just a pair of x 8s.
