I am as tight as a ducks bum , hate spending money unless I think it is a good deal and I need it or really want it. Having wanted a prime for a zillion years but refusing to spend the money I have stuck with zoom and been fairly happy but always had prime envy. The PF 500mm came out and I still refused to spend the cash!!!
Well just recieved my D500 and 500mmPF, took a few quick shots and as I was told by my friend Steve that I would wish I had done it ages ago, well he was spot on, I am hooked.
Light enough for me to handhold, AF is super fast compared to my other lenses, and great pics straight away !
Happy and impressed indeed, wish I had taken the plunge years ago ;-)
PS, the daffodil is overexposed on purpose ;-)
