Moths and other critters in my Cypriot garden (2 Viewers)

This was my most interesting catch from last night, it being a first for me.

Also last night was a moth tentatively ID'd for me as Herpetogramma licarsisalis, any other input is welcome.

Pic 274 in post 237 has caused a bit of excitement from one member on Lepiforum who suggests that this may be a new species for Cyprus but he doesn't know what it is!

Nice one! Looks like something in Oecophoridae but beyond that, there are vaguely similar species here but it is not anything I recgnise

Here's last nights most interesting bits.

The Ranunculus is a rushed ID, if someone can correct me I'd be grateful, seems too big for Small Ranunculous

Edit: Feathered Ranunculus, not on the list though?

I made an error with the Chamomile Shark in post 247, it doesn't occur here and from those listed that do, I can't see one that looks like it?

To clear up a few errors.

1. Chamomile Shark has been ID'd as Cucullia calendulae
2. I had a suspected Gem, which has been confirmed.
3. 3151 Has been ID'd as Matia calidaria
4. 3166 Is Condica viscosa
And I've had a couple of other new ones in The Cosmopolitan Leucania loreyi and 3126 Aporophyla australis.

The moth I wrongly called a Ranunculus has been suggested to be an Antitype sp of which there are no records for Cyprus.

I've finally made contact with a local expert and my ID of Large Ranunculus turns out to have been right, ssp flavidor.

Here's an addition to my list, Spodoptera littoralis, variously know as the African / Egyptian Cotton Leaf Worm but most familiarly to Brits as the Mediterranean Brocade.

Looks as if the pest species Spodoptera frugiperda is now established in Cyprus. Originally from the Americas, it was first discovered in Cyprus as recently as 19th Dec 2022 but I've now had three in a week.

Edit: I just found another female.

It has been found in several locations in Australia but so far I have managed to avoid catching them
