monocular. (1 Viewer)

what make/type of monocular is it? I have a few monoculars and they're very handy to have about, what size/magnification is it?

hi sam just tried them out over the fields, very dissapointed, think ime better off with my 8x42 binos, could be that they are a cheap pair.

Sounds like it could we be a cheap one, that's a shame! The Chinese copies of the old Zeiss Turmon monocular (I have one of both) are surprisingly good if you avoid the 'ruby' coated ones, and I got a Brunton Lite-Tech 8x22 monocular yesterday for about £20, surprisingly good, BAK4 prism and waterproof too. All good options if you did go the monocular route, or as many here prefer a small pair of 8x20 binoculars might be a good option for portability, just not the cheap 'n' cheerful ones! :)
