Martin mere wwt centre (1 Viewer)

Last Thursday I was taken to Martin mere wetland Centre as part of my birthday celebrations and it was great. Highlights, were black-tailed godwit, Marsh harrier, ruff and Marsh tit
I went to Martinmere on Boxing day. It was very good. They are not feeding at the moment due to Bird Flue but there were still thousands of birds. I have heard the place described as a open air zoo and that the birds are only there due to the feed, this was proved wrong. Saw a Golden Eye very close up from one of hides. The food in the cafe was good too. Used my Celestron 8x32s and was very impressed, for the price, from Costco on line, they were great.
