Just a bit of an update as nobodys posted on here for a while, A few hours this morning produced a Spoonbill at least 3 Crossbills with seven being seen yesterday, Tawny Owl, Willow Warbler, Chiff Chaff, Goldcrest, Avocets, Black Tailed Godwits, Curlew, Redshanks, Ringed Plovers. Little Egret and Barn Owl have both been seen this week but didn't show in the couple of hours we were there.

Just to add to that, Common Sandpiper dropped in late and almost immediateley dropped out again plus a female Brambling and a Stock Dove at the Janet Kear hide

Walking around the local fields in burscough i was made up to find a fine looking male Redstart :king:followed by a hunting Barn Owl , over at MMWT were 5 male and 1 female Yellow Wags and a couple of Med Gulls , also a flock of Curlew included 2 Whimbrel
