Little help with some optics anomalies (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

Just purchased some ScoopX UHD 10x42s and I'm noticing these faint double/triple edges. This was taken through a cellphone adapter but is present in both sides. I'm not new to photography and lenses but am relatively new to binoculars. Would someone mind telling me what this is? I do notice it in my Nikon 10x25s but it's not as noticeable, guessing this is due to a lower aperture (not sure what to call it bino-speak). It's obviously a very bright sunny day but I didn't think CA had levels to it like this. Thanks for the time!

It looks like the photo was taken through window glass or some flat glass filter or similar.

Thanks for the response, it was taken through an open window but through a screen. Agree that it has that exact look.

Ok, just went outside and voila, it's crystal clear. I would never have guessed a screen could induce such an effect. Thanks so much.

I can't decide if I'm more embarrassed or excited lol.
