Juv. robin? (1 Viewer)

This bird was in my garden this morning. It was making a loud "tick" type of sound. Is it just a juv. robin?

When do robins get their adult plumage?

Many thanks

It looks like a Dunnock. Not known for their ticking!

Thanks Jane. I hadn't considered Dunnock. I've just had a look through many dunnock pics in the gallery and am now convinced.

With regard to its call, perhaps "ticking" is not a good description. I am useless at describing bird calls, but it was short and repeated at approx 5 - 10 second intervals, deeper and richer in tone compared with say a wren's "tick".

Many thanks, I had been hoping for a new garden "tick".
