Jackdaws in Urban Heanor (1 Viewer)

Hi there everyone,

Just wondered if anyone had seen jackdaws in Heanor just lately. I'm a new birdie virgin and saw a pair this morning on my street. They looked quite unusual and wondered if anyone else knew if jackdaws had been spotted in these parts?

If anyone can provide confirmation that would be great and would put my mind at rest.

Many Thanks

Jackdaws get pretty much everywhere, so no reason why they shouldn't have been. What looked unusual about them?

Just not seen anything like them before, probably because I'm only a relatively new bird watcher so to speak.

They were quite elegant and mysterious, which is nice for Heanor!

Fair enough Dibbyf, I am sure even Heanor is not out of bounds for Jackdaws;)
Elegant and mysterious are not adjectives I would normally assosciate with Jackdaws mind you, maybe I need to look closer.
