Ivory Gull Grindavík - is it still there? (1 Viewer)

Hi
I have some family who are going to be in Iceland for a few days over the weekend and I wondered if the Ivory Gull is still around at Grindavik as they might go for it if it is.

They won't have a car so will rely on a bus otherwise they would have checked it out for themselves either way.

If it is still around where abouts does it tend to hang around?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian

Hasn't been seen for more than a week. I know someone who searched on Friday without success but you never know. When it was there it was in the harbour. If they do go then there should be plenty of Iceland and Glaucous Gulls around and always the chance of Gyr Falcon at this time of year. Harlequins too along the coast away from the harbour.
