Hi. I'm Leo and live in South London with my partner Bob. We will be travelling to Lake Como in early July and would welcome and advice on guides and sites.

Hi, Leo. Welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. We have a number of members here from Italy. If you post your question in the following forum you should get some help:

Hola Leo! Welcome to Birdforum (y)

There is a book called "Where to Watch Birds in Italy" published in 1994. Probably you can get it used and find some interesting spots for birding inside. I do not know if there is some specific information about Lake Como. Maybe someone owns this book and check this.

Hi Leo and a warm welcome from me too. You could try posting in our Information Wanted forum where more people are likely to see it.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
