I need to get involved in some bird group or something. In the last few years I mainly birded for work, like in Ohio where I used to do Spot Map surveys, those were fun. But I haven't been around other birders in a long time in a non-job sense. Any good groups in the Battle Creek/Jackson area? There are birds that live here that are missing from my life list!!! That's horrible!

Are you on the Michigan Rare Bird Alert? You can usually catch up with local birders when some goodie has been reported.
