ID help please - prob escapee UK (1 Viewer)

This bird has for a few days been sheltering on the scafolding of my sister-in-law's house in Leamington Spa. Any ideas of it's ID? The blue colour in one of the pics is not real, it has basically brown plumage. It goes elsewhere at night but returns each day. Occasionally it drops down into the garden but spends most of it's time on the scaffolding.
