Hong Kong Guide Required (1 Viewer)

Hello

I will be in Hong Kong for one full day on the way back the UK from Australia. I would like to visit Mai Po on 31st. August. I realise it's not the best time of the year. Anyone know of any guides who could take me around?

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin

Unfortunately I've only just seen this posting. Whilst I can't assist with guide details the following may be of some use. I too am visiting Mai Po but in October, I applied for my permit, by land post on 16/07/07 and received my email confirmation on 25/07/07. So if you haven't already sorted out a guide this may be something you could have as a back up. It's only $120 HK about £7.50. I elected to pay on arrival and collect my permit at the same time. You may already be aware that you can arrange a day guide at the reserve with the WWT, not something that I've looked into though. Link below to overseas visitors info and application form.

Best of luck - Dave
