Dear members of the forum,
My name is Philipp and I'm a new member from Germany and wanted to introduce myself. So far I just started doing a little birding, watching the birds at the feeder in our garden or across the street on the large fields or some ducks on the river behind it.
I started collecting binoculars mainly for astronomy but the more I had, the more I started using them for birding. Because you can't always watch the stars (clouds for months on end being one reason) but I can watch birds every day. So my plan is to get more into that and buy some books as I'm rather bad at identifying birds apart from the ones in the garden.
I also enjoy reading reviews of binoculars on the website and might even be able to chime in from time to time because of the large and growing collection I already have.

Cheers, Philipp :)
