RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands celebrates its first birthday this weekend with free entry and a host of activities for birders, the general public and their families.

I will leave it till the crowds die down to deliver my card, but congratulations to the RSPB and their dedicated staff for providing such a great facility!

Also today the Black Swan plus Marsh Harrier, Merlin, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, Buzzard, Godwits, Spotted Redshank, Snipe and all the usuals!
