Guide Recommendations for Kaeng Krachan (1 Viewer)

I'm considering a trip to Kaeng Krachan next March and was hoping someone could refer me to a local guide. It seems like a great place to visit but, on the other hand, it looks like an awful lot to tackle without assistance. I mean, I could get in and wander around and attempt to navigate with some advice from folks, but I feel like I would probably waste a lot time and miss out on some great stuff.

I normally stay here: http://www.samarnbirdcamp.com/Welcome.html

They have staff who can guide you.

Thanks for the input, gandytron. I have a few follow-up questions, if you don't mind.

I see one dissenting voice on his TripAdvisor page, but I always take those reviews with a grain of salt (or a half ton block of rock salt, depending). How is Samarn's English? I've traveled to several Asian countries and can do okay with most accents, probably better than the average American, provided the vocabulary is adequate. What is his guiding style like? How large of groups does he usually book? Is the birding good throughout the day, or should we look for other activities for our afternoons?
