Goshawks (1 Viewer)

Over the past few weeks, I have been able to see goshawks many times. Today in particular I heard the calls both in the morning and in the afternoon coming from a small grove. I tried to check it out and caught a glimpse of one among the fir trees, then immediately moved away so as not to disturb it. It could be a nest site. The strange thing is that it is so close to the houses!

I agree but I have seen more in the last month and a half than in the rest of my life. And always very close to my house.

Finally, I am almost certain I have found a nesting site of the goshawks. Surprisingly, it is a small patch of forest surrounded by meadows and very close to houses. I was amazed because they would have a much quieter mountainside. Perhaps like other species, they are getting closer to settlements. Anyway, for me, seeing them is always a thrill!
