Golden Eagle or Common Buzzard? (1 Viewer)

Hello all

I recorded this footage yesterday in Donegal, Ireland and I am trying to confirm the id of the bird. Golden Eagle is very scarce but there is a handful of birds in this part of the country.

I have shared with some birder friends, most of them very (VERY!) experienced, and views are divided.

I know some of those I contacted yesterday privately are users of this forum, I hope you don't mind me looking for views of more birders. I take this as a learning experience for me :)

Thanks,

Very difficult to be sure from such juddery footage but general proportions and the way it 'hangs' in the wind is more suggestive of Buzzard for me.

The video stopped at 1:10 seems to show a white tail with a with a very wide black terminal band if that helps - imo it looks too short winged for GE having watched it through several times
