I have a 1989 copy of Stiles and Skutch from an earlier trip. Is this still good, or can someone recommend a better one?

Thanks, Dave

Thanks for posting this as I was about to ask the same question. Could someone also please recommend an app for iPad?

Thanks

Pat

I use "Costa Rica Birds Field Guide" app for iPhone and iPad. It is a nice complement to Garrigues and Dean, and has the benefit of sounds.

I also use Birdseye (http://www.birdseyebirding.com/apps/birdseye/), which has add-ons for Costa Rica birds and Bird Sounds of Costa Rica.

I also use eBird while in CR.

Hope this helps,
Dan, who is looking forward to spending the month of February in Monteverde.

BTW - both Stiles&Skutch 2014 and Garrigues are out of stock on Amazon in the UK. Does anyone know of a different supplier here?
