Saw this Owl pair this morning (3rd February 2023) in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Small, slender and darkish plumage. Distinct ear tufts when alert and yellow eyes.

Requesting ID help and pointers please.

We have the Rufous Morph here as of now. This one is a smaller more slender owl with yellow eyes. The scapular feathers seem to have black tips and slight rufous edges. Am indeed confused. The Eurasian is supposed to be an ‘autumn migrant’.
