Has anyone birded the Duni area, using the resort as a base? Looks like it could be good, or has the area suffered as a result of tourism?

Holidayed there for 2 weeks in October 08, it is a good area easily birded and has not been overdeveloped yet. Going back in Sept this year one drawback is having to drive through Bourghas to reach the Northern sites (avoid during rush hour!)
