Desktop not connecting to internet - now sorted (I hope!) (1 Viewer)

My desktop will not connect to the house WiFi. However my phone and tablet do. When I troubleshoot, I get this message. Any suggestions?

Hello,

The first step is rebooting the computer.
Try reconnecting the wi-fi to the computer. Next, try connecting to the router with an ethernet cable.
Lastly reboot your router and modem, if separate.

Not sure if it was my 20th turning it on and off again or doing the same to the router or starting it in safe mode but it appears to be working again, at least for the moment. Thanks for the advice.

I'm glad I didn't need to try the ethernet one as I suspect I haven't had an ethernet cable for sometime.
