Crossbills in the Highlands (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I am after a site/sites for scottish/parrot crossbill. I am visiting Scotland for a week and a half at the start of August, staying around Aberdeen for 2 days before heading across to Speyside, then the west coast. Having spent a week volunteering at Abernethy RSPB a couple of years ago in July, and not seeing a crossbill of any description, some help would be very gratefully received!
