Had a walk around trig point and pars warren fantastic views crossbill inc a female on a branch seemed to be stripping back the bark could clearly see red tongue coming out maybe getting the sap? First time I have observed this behaviour. Also 11 raven flyover,kestrel hover hunting,plenty buzzards,coal tits,and usual sp. First time post on here been back in staffs after living in Somerset for over 20yr so if anybody wants any information about Somerset levels birdlife feel free to email me
