Hi All

Went off on a wader mission today with the wife.
First off head to Cabin Hill NNR near Formby, never been there before but will go back really close views of thousands of waders. That is until some prat let his dog run at the flocks on the beach

Any way managed to see the following
Grey Plover (lifer for the wife)o:)
Sanderling (lifer for the pair of us):t:
Turn Stone
Bar Tailed Godwit
Dunlin
Knot
Ringed Plover
Oystercatcher

On the walk to the beach we picked up Great Spotted Woodpecker, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Stone Chat, Green Finch and Sky Lark

Headed then along the coast to Marshside, not too much here in the way of waders, tide though was now heading back out. Did get though
Snipe
Black Tailed Godwit
Ruff
Dunlin
Curlew
Teal
Pin Tail
Shovler
Barnacle Goose
Grey Lag
Pink Foot

Not a bad list from for only being out from being on sight between 10:30 and 14:30.

Tim.
