Butterflies in Jordan for ID (1 Viewer)

Hi folks! I just got back from a couple of weeks in Jordan, and can't figure out what species these two are - one is some sort of Grayling and the other a Fritillary, but that is as far as I can go with the ID. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Ollie

The Fritillary is interesting a dead ringer for, the Spotted Fritillary Melitaea didyma, found here but could be a Desert Fritillary Melitaea deserticola not much help I'm afraid
