Well used bushnell custom shows"A3792" around the tripod mount hole (front hinge) had aluminum eye cups (really!) 8x35 7 deg 40 min / featherweight magnesium" on beauty ring. What was the first year of the custom?

I posted to a question on said binoculars on the cloudy night forum and learned in the process that the binoculars are "featherlight II" model not a custom. Was the custom and the featherlight II models produced concurrently?
