I am making a house wren/black capped chickadee birdhouse for my nieces and wondering if burning would have any adverse effect on nesting?
I have read that paint is bad, so thought I would burn, sand and apply an all natural sealer to the outside. To help keep the hemlock from getting abused by Washington weather.
