Although in the political boundry of Norfolk Burgh Castle is in the recording area of Suffolk.

Brilliant morning on rising tide.
One Spotted Redshank coming into Summer Plumage.
74 Avocets. 9 Black tailed Godwits. One Little Egret.
Several Curlew, Redshank Shelduck & Oystercatchers,

Four Marsh Harriers. One very brightly marked Male.
Another Male came in from the East high. The two males flew up to the bird before driving it high to the north east.
The bird called a repeated "Whelp, whelp!" A call I had never heard before.

Best Wishes
Colin J.
