Hi, we have a camera bird box and had a pair of Blue tits start building a nest and we got very excited. However, it's now been over 24hrs with no visits.
Is this normal or have they given up? Thank-you.

It is very common that the nest is build in stages, with sometimes days of no activity, so don't lose hope. But it also happens that the nest building just stops. Impossible to tell at this stage. Just keep monitoring
My money is on them returning though.

Same. I have tit's that look like they're wanting the box I made...been in and out now for nearly a wk. I'm hopeing they take it and am watching mort of the day lol. Am I sad ha
