I going to Tampere in Finland in mid March for 2 full days and wondered if there was anywhere in the city or very (very) near it where I could see a few birds . My wife, sister and son are going and it is not a dedicated birding trip (we will not have a car).....I will, however, have a little spare time and would be able to visit parks or nearby woodland. Unfortunately the "goodies" that are present further north will not be visited. Any information on sites and birds in or very near Tampere would be welcome.
