Our lass was out walking the dog behind what used to be chutor ede school in biddick hall and said she heard a bird she's never heard before, when she explained it to me she said it sounded like an old telephone. Just wondered what people thought as I can't think of anything, she is average on bird ID as she sometimes tags along with me when I'm out with the camera

Starlings can be great mimics, can't really think of anything else that could make a ringing sound?

Kingfisher perhaps ???

No good at Bird sounds but have heard them ringingg away going down a river.
