Thought it was a shame that no one posted from the Lake given Redditch has some good birders so to give us an additional Worcestershire thread I thought I'd post when ever I can.
They was an old thread that I couldn't reply to.
The Lake is very popular these days but I was stuck local today so thought I'd try is for an hour of so.
Would be interesting what else is seen and what species count is recorded over 12 months.
7 Goosander (5 Male 2 Female), 10 Mute Swan, 19 Coot, 9 Magpie, 128 Black Headed Gull, 2 Lesser Black Backed Gulls, 35 Canada Geese, 7 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Blackbird, 3 Blue Tits, 13 Wood Pigeon, 2 Grey Heron, 4 Cormorants, 6 Moorhen, 2 Gadwell, 4 Goldfinch, 1 Dunnock, 2 Carrion Crow, 5 Tufted Duck, 3 Greylag
Certainly not Upton but not a bad start.............
