Alcudia observation tower? (2 Viewers)

Hi all
Got here at last thanks to the forum admin people! Anyway my query is: someone told me there is an observation tower somewhere near Alcudia. I’ve looked for it but to no avail, anyone know where it is ( or isn’t) 😊

There's a wooden observation platform just northwest of Alcudia overlooking the southern part of Albufereta?

Ah! I think thats the one at the top of the steep climb to the top of the hill. It overlooks the bay. I hadnt seen that as an observation tower but I think youre right.

By the looks of it, you walk up the unmade road towards the pin on your map. Have you been here before? In Mallorca it pays to be careful not to wander onto private land. they can be a bit possessive! There is a small hide further along the road towards Alcudia, where I often stop to watch the flamingos.

Yes - park carefully on roadside verge (roughly at green pin) and follow track westwards. A scope is useful.

Hi Phil
I’m in Mallorca now and found the tower thanks to your pinned location
It’s a great spot and saw a Marsh Harrier lots of Flamingos and best of all an Osprey so well worth the visit. Thanks again

Btw the bird tower proved a great find didn’t even know it was there so thanks to this forum
