Accommodation in Krabi (1 Viewer)

Hanno

Ho Ho Ho
Dear fellow BF members,

Could anyone recommend good accommodation in Krabi, Thailand? Prize is not so much an issue, good location with (preferably) some good birding nearby is.

Regards,

Hanno

Hi Hanno

rong's was the place to stay but i think it's shut now. There's lots of places so finding one will be easy i think. Mrs Lee at Chan Pen Travel on the waterfront used to be very helpful too.

It's probably still there, but you can get small chalets at the Riverside Hotel pretty cheaply which come highly recommended by a few birdy folk across Thailand, and now by me as well!
ps. I love Krabi, take a boat with Mr. Dai for the waders/kingfishers/kites/etc; I've never got to him quick enough, and always ended up with second rate boatmen who don't know the locations of the birds!
