A bit of a strange pipit (1 Viewer)

Here I have a strange pipit from a few days ago. It seems to be staying where I also saw Red-throated Pipits, but somehow it doesn't look typical - a strange streaking of the breast, a rather long bill, a large bright area around the eye, - but everything can be seen in the photos.

The head markings to one side Michal, the mantle and back to my eye are reminiscent of Red-throated Pipit, which is what I think it is.

Mantle streaking seems weak for an RTP to me, I'd call it a worn Meadow Pipit

The amount of streaking is variable in most smaller Pips, however I’ve yet to see a Mipit with “spotting” on the mantle between the braces as in this bird, being much more in keeping with RTP than Mipit.

Meadow pipit for me too.
The flank streaking and the dark malar patch are both too weak for a worn red-throated pipit, and I would also expect more of a tawny wash on throat and ear coverts in a spring bird of that species.

Thank you all for your opinion and for joining the conversation. However, I must admit that something doesn't suit me here (I mean the impression) on meadow pipit.
