Musk lorikeet feeding
This musk lorikeet was enthusiastically feeding on the flowers of a broad-leaved paperbark tree. I was lucky to see this bird and others in the shorter trees, as opposed to in the taller eucalypts.- Leafbringer

Monk parakeets in flight
Here we call them monk parakeets - others call them 'Quaker parrots'. Very well established invasive species here in South Florida, huge 'apartment' style nests can be found on the side of power poles and cell towers with 15-30 or more nesting chambers. And they are very noisy!- Zackiedawg
