Osprey subspecies?
I saw this lovely pair in the Everglades National Park. The bird to the left seems an obvious "American Osprey", carolinensis. The bird on the right seems quite pale, however. Is it a possible ridgwayi? Thanks!- Fandango739

This was the third Eastern Osprey, we saw in a couple of hours. Picture really not great as he was on the far side of the river and up a tree. I'm not sure if the tangle of twigs is from a very large old nest, or if it may be mistletoe, which seems to be a bit of a problem over there I think...- delia todd
