Experimenting stacking two 2x extenders (II and III version) and trying to photograph the moon using 7D MkII.
ISO1000, 1/125, f11. Camera doesn't recognize the other extender and autofocus doesn't work.

Due to pandemic, many of us being stuck or stay at home more often. Park and some outdoor activities were off limit on and off. Mind as well take up new activity using your existing birding gears and pointing up in night sky while staying at home.
I don't own binoculars or spotting scope, but...

I was fascinated by the moon ... it is a different shape when not full.
Over in the UK it forms sideways crescents, but in Australia it was the bottom half that was missing.
That had never occurred to me before, although I knew the stars would be different.
As I walked through an agriculture field a couple of evenings ago, found this Black-winged Kite perched very high up on a HT cable with 13th day moon in the back ground. A bit of position adjustment resulted in this shot. Hope you like it.
