Juvenile Bald Eagle

Juvenile Bald Eagle soars over Keystone Dam near the Arkansas River Eagle Sanctuary just west of Tulsa, OK. Every year the eagles migrate in from the Great Lakes and take up winter residence on the rivers and lakes in Oklahoma.

Grey-Faced Buzzard (Eagle)

I roused this bird up, driving by a field and he perched up in this tree with his backside toward me. I drove very slowly and made some squeeking noises trying to get him to look around. On cue he turned his head around and this shot is the result. The cream colored supercilium, greyish cheeks...

Bald Eagle In The Morning Light

I felt this is a very pretty eagle. The morning light was equally attractive. The birds markings would say it is not quite five years old, when all of the dark markings on it's head and tail will leave.

Tawny Eagle

We found this Tawny Eagle in the tree plucking a hornbill that it had scavenged. I know that the hornbill was scavenged because we saw it dead the day before. I love this picture but it came out horribly dark (still had a lot to learn about photography when I took it, still have lots to learn...
